About the Apartment

Lounge Holidays are thrilled to offer ‘Sea Scape Apartment’ in Aberdovey a really special contemporary style holiday apartment, which enjoys spectacular views of the Dovey Estuary.  Spacious and modern, with two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, sitting room & shower-room.  The apartment has been renovated & decorated with new furniture, fittings and designer bedding.  From the sunny sitting room, you can watch the tides roll in and with the beach just a short walk you could be soaking up the sun all day, then enjoying the spectacular sunset over Cardigan Bay. For those cooler times of year there is fixed heating, double glazing and of course FREE WIFI.

The apartment is also pet & smoke FREE, so great for guests with allergies.

Miles of sweeping sandy beaches and stunning walks are just a stone’s throw from the apartment.  As well as a fantastic location near the harbour, this lovely apartment is only a two-minute walk into the village with its shops and eateries.  There is no designated parking, but is 1 parking pass for the main town car park 200m away.

Surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park, this lovely apartment is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want, if you're into cycling or horse-riding there are numerous scenic places to ride and the internationally-famous mountain-biking centre at Coed y Brenin just 40 minutes away. This is a walker’s paradise with the Mawddach Trail and the Wales Coast Path nearby. For those seeking a little more challenge Cader Idris can be reached in less than an ½ hour. If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the famous Talyllyn narrow-gauge steam railway in Tywyn.

ACCOMODATION:

Entrance and outside space.

Entering from the rear of the building up the metal fire escape the apartment is on the second floor.  Not suitable for guests with mobility issues.   There is a level area half way up with a bistro table & chairs, that enjoys lovey views of the hills behind.

Living room.

The main sitting room enjoys fabulous views over the village & the Estuary.  With carpet flooring, feature fireplace, 2 X 2 seater cosy sofas and a foot stool. Also books games etc. An ‘LG’ 24” flat-screen TV with Freeview, PS2 & games plus a DVD. Electric heater.

Dining room.

A real wood floor in the separate dining room with a lovely oak table with 6 hi-back chairs, plus a side board with IPOD doc. Electric heater.

Kitchen.

A smart separate kitchen next to the dining room has a breakfast bar and features slate flooring. It has newly fitted ‘oak effect’ kitchen units with slate-look worktops and half tiles walls. A built in oven, electric ceramic hob & extractor hood over, washer/dryer, microwave and, fridge/freezer box.  The kitchen is equipped with everything you would expect in a well presented holiday home.

Family Shower room.
Walk in glass door shower cubicle, vanity unit hand basin, toilet, full floor & wall tiling, heated towel rail and back lit mirror. 

Bedroom ONE - sleeps 2
With fabulous views, double-size ‘leather style’ bed, built in wardrobe with shelves, 3 drawer dressing table, 2 bedside tables. Bush TV, electric heater. Both the bedrooms are carpeted.

Bedroom TWO on the 2nd floor- sleeps 2
With adult size single beds, hanging space, 6 drawer chest of drawers, 2 X Velux windows with village and estuary views. 12” TV, electric heater. NB: This is an attic room, so head high is restricted, but it’s a spacious room.

Additional information:

A truly exceptional property for your summer holiday, winter & weekend break.

Short breaks when available out of the main school holidays: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £250 applies to every booking.

Christmas dates 22nd to 29th Dec & New Year 30th December to 5th January

Where a 1 week minimum applies, our changeover day is SATURDAY

Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of energy, heating, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

We also have a travel cot & high chair at no extra charge.  Baby bedding is not provided.

Strictly NO PETS sorry.  

We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £150 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property.

We accept payment by BACS bank transfer no charge. Card payments VIA PAYPAL  or by cheque. A £35 booking fee applies to each booking.

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.
