Lounge Holidays are thrilled to offer ‘Barmouth ocean view premium apartment’, a really special ground floor apartment which enjoys spectacular coastal and scenic views.

The property is a 2 minute walk from the beach & spectacular walks and all the amities Barmouth has to offer.

The apartment boasts impressive space, with its high ceilings and air of grandness with elegant period features such as high ceilings, plaster mouldings, ceiling roses & deep skirting window seats and fireplaces as well as its added design flair to create something truly wonderful.

The ocean view is slightly elevated which provides stunning sea views and Barmouths award winning sandy beach from the lounge with an outlook enhanced by the nearby church and scenic hillside inland. 

For those cooler times of the year, there is central heating, a cozy log burner for those chilly evenings, double glazing and free WIFI throughout.

The apartment is also pet & smoke-FREE, so great for guests with allergies.

There is no designated parking but there are plenty of free parking spaces outside and a car park opposite, as well as the main town car park 500m away. Even in high season, there is usually no problem parking close by.

Surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park, Ocean  View Apartment is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want.

For those with families miles of sweeping sandy beaches await you, or perhaps you could explore nearby Harlech Castle – a World Heritage Site. 

If you're into cycling or horse-riding there are numerous scenic places to ride and the internationally-famous mountain-biking centre at Coed y Brenin just 20 minutes away. This is a walker’s paradise with the Mawddach Trail & Taith Ardudwy Way very close, whilst the Wales Coast Path passes the front door!

For those seeking a little more challenge Cader Idris lies at the head of the Mawddach Estuary, and Snowdon can be reached in less than an hour.

If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the Cambrian Coast railway – one of the UK’s most scenic railway routes all the way along this glorious coast line – or maybe one of the famous narrow-gauge steam railways that proliferate in this corner of Wales?

We have a Cot and high chair availble upon request. Baby bedding is not provided. 

A truly exceptional spacious property for your summer holiday, winter & weekend break.

Short breaks when available out of the main school holidays: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £250 applies to every booking.

Where a 1 week minimum applies, our changeover day is SATURDAY in the peak season.

Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of energy, heating, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

Strictly NO PETS sorry.  

We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £150 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property.

We accept payment by BACS bank transfer, Card payments VIA PAYPAL or  cheque. A £35 booking fee is applied to every booking.

"A great place for our weeks holiday. Parked the car opposite the apartment and never used it all week. Barmouth has one of everything, its a wonderful place to go and visit. The owners have put everything into making this a special place to stay, they are expert at making sure we settled in immediately. The apartment's decoration and amenities are outstanding; the attention to detail is absolutely "wowee" The location is a quiet cul-de-sac, a place to commence a walk to town or over the hills with breathtaking views over this majestic river estuary and monumentally enormous sandy beaches extending far away... "This is a very spacious apartment on the ground floor of a victorian i.e. very high ceilings, large rooms etc. The main living room and kitchen is enormous and we loved the decor - there's been plenty of attention to detail. It is in excellent condition and very clean. We couldn't believe what we got for our money compared to the equivalent accomodation type in Devon or Cornwall. Although there's no dedicated parking, this was never a problem as it's not on a main road and there was always a space very close. Although on a slight hill, it's not that steep but has a great view over Barmouth and the beach and the footpath up the hill to some excellent scenic walks is right outside the house. If you like walking, as well as the aformentioned local walk, the rest of Snowdonia is right on the doorstep and we did the beautiful Cader Idris (a classic horseshoe ridge & 3rd highest peak in Wales), which can be seen from Barmouth harbour. Okay, so Barmouth has some of the usual tackiness associated with a UK seaside town but the kids love it and there's plenty of beautiful parts to explore too (the walk across the viaduct/foot bridge across the estuary is adorned by the peaks and well worth it). We normally take our stay-cations in Devon and Cornwall but we'll definitely be back. We had all the same beautiful coastline but with peaks too! Pete H Cheltenham, United Kingdom "
