WOW what a view and a real GEM of a coastal retreat!

Lounge Holidays are thrilled to offer ‘Seaside Gem Apartment’ in Aberdovey a really well presented bolt hole, which enjoys spectacular views of the Dovey Estuary, over the harbour.  A contemporary apartment, with 1 bedroom and a faux leather bed settee in the lounge providing accommodation for 2-4 guests, separate kitchen & shower-room.  The apartment has been recently renovated & tastefully decorated.  From the sunny living room & bedroom, you can watch the tides roll in and with the beach right opposite, you could be soaking up the sun all day, then enjoying the spectacular sunset over Cardigan Bay, FREE WIFI of course.

The apartment is also pet & smoke FREE, so great for guests with allergies.

Miles of sweeping sandy beaches and stunning walks are just a stone’s throw from the apartment.  As well as a fantastic location near the harbour, this lovely apartment is only a one-minute walk into the village with its shops and eateries.  There is no designated parking, but there is 1 parking pass for the main town car park 200m away.

Surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park, this lovely apartment is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want, if you're into cycling or horse-riding there are numerous scenic places to ride and the internationally-famous mountain-biking centre at Coed y Brenin just 40 minutes away. This is a walker’s paradise with the Mawddach Trail and the Wales Coast Path nearby. For those seeking a little more challenge Cader Idris can be reached in less than an ½ hour. If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the famous Talyllyn narrow-gauge steam railway in Tywyn.

ACCOMODATION:

Entrance and parking.

Enter from the front of the building VIA a lovely period hallway. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues.  Parking is normally available opposite for ease of unloading and a parking pass for the main car park, again opposite, is available in the apartment.

Living/Dining room.

The main sitting room enjoys fabulous views over the boat club/harbour & the Estuary.  With carpet flooring, 4 seater white faux leather sofa bed and an easy chair.  42” flat-screen TV with Freeview.  Electric heater.

Dining area.

With a lovely white ‘nest’ table with 4 chairs.

Kitchen.

The very smart, separate & spacious kitchen has a window seat and tiled flooring. It has newly fitted ‘white Shaker style’ kitchen units with marble-look worktops and half tiles/wood panelled walls. A built-in oven, electric ceramic hob & extractor hood over, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer box.  The kitchen is equipped with everything you would expect in a well presented holiday home.

Shower room.
Large, walk in glass door shower cubicle, vanity unit (with lots of storage) fitted hand basin, toilet, stunning floor & wall tiling, heated towel rail and back lit mirror. 

Bedroom - sleeps 2
Super king size bed , real wood flooring, twin wardrobe, 2 X bed side tables, window with harbour and estuary views, electric heater.

NB: faux leather bed settee in the lounge can provide accommodation for 2 extra guests.  A £5 per night, per extra guest applies with a min charge of £35.

Additional information:

A truly exceptional property for your summer holiday, winter & weekend break.

Short breaks when available out of the main school holidays: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £200 applies to every booking.

Christmas dates 22nd to 29th Dec & New Year 30th December to 5th January

Where a 1 week minimum applies, our changeover day is SATURDAY 

Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of energy, heating, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

Strictly NO PETS sorry.  

We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £150 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property. A 35 booking fee applies to each booking. 

We accept payment by BACS bank transfer, Card payments VIA PAYPAL  or by cheque.

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.
