About the Cottage
Rhine Cottage is a quaint, cosy and traditional beamed cottage, with a stream opposite and in the heart of the village of Llanegryn, Snowdonia. This delightful stone cottage has recently been refurbished and tastefully decorated to a very high standard, whilst retaining all its character features, along with the comforts of modern living. There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner with all modern appliances. This charming property also benefits from a wood-burner set in an inglenook fireplace in the living room, making a great focal point - just bring your own logs! Upstairs, there are two bedrooms - one double room and one room with 3 single beds. There is also a brand new shower room. The cottage has its own sunny patio and garden, with basic patio furniture for 'alfresco living'. Free WI FI
Set on the edge of The Snowdonia National Park, the village of Llanegryn enjoys a stunning location and is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. Beaches, mountains and rivers are right on the doorstep. For those with families, miles of sweeping sandy beaches can be found in Tywyn or Aberdovey.
A nice view of the village is enjoyed from the stable door and kitchen window.
The big farmhouse table which sits 6 is a really nice feature of this property. There is an ceramic hob, electric oven with extractor, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, plus all the necessary cooking utensils.
Also with a view toward the stream and the village.
In addition to the beamed ceiling, the wood-burner and inglenook is the central feature in this room, so plenty of heat on those chilly evenings. There is also a 24"flat screen TV with Freesat, DVD/CD/ and small selection of DVDs, and maps& books. There is also a small selection of board games.

The shower-room on the 1st floor has a toilet, wash basin, shower and heated towel rail.
All the beds have two pillows and quilts, all bed linen is provided. Bath and hand towels are also provided for each person staying in the cottage. Beach towel are NOT provided so please bring your own.
The cottage is located in a quiet location off the main road in the village. The front door opens onto the quiet road with a view towards the village hall and the stream with an old stone bridge. Its about a 5 min drive or a 20 min walk to the Bryn Crug village where there is an excellent pub; The Peniarth & a corner shop. Tywyn (the main town in the area) is about a 10 min drive. There are miles of public footpaths all around.
Rhine Cottage has its own private garden area to the rear. The garden is secluded and mature.
Parking is available at the front of cottage or outside the village hall for a number of cars.

We also ask for a £150 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property. There is a minimum charge of £250 for any stay. We can accept payments by cheque, but prefer a BACS or FASTER (internet) payment in GBP. We also have a PayPal facility. A £35 booking fee applies to each booking.

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.
