Looking for a coastal retreat at a reasonable cost? Lounge Holidays is delighted to be offering this modern bungalow just a 5 mins walk to the sweeping west facing the sandy beach. New Listing and sensibly priced for the first season!  A well-presented ‘bolt hole’ semi-detached bungalow in a quiet location, with 3 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests. All on one level and close to the village center. This bungalow has it all, private garden & off-road parking. It’s fairly spacious with a conservatory, easy access off the drive, so great for guests with mobility issues.  Smoke free, pets considered, FREE WIFI of course, double glazing & electric heating, so very warm and cozy all year.

The bungalow is located on a small estate, where there are similar bungalows and it is quiet & fairly private.  The rear garden/terrace providing a perfect sun trap to enjoy the sun a perfect setting for relaxing and al-fresco dining.

‘Fairbourne Bolt Hole’ is just a short walk to village with its railways (mainline and miniature railway) amenities including a village store, post office, butchers, deli & a very good Indian restaurant.  Only a short to the beach, where you can watch spectacular sunsets and regularly spot dolphins. 

Nicely decorated & finished to a good standard, the bungalow is the ideal base for your perfect holiday, summer or winter. If you haven't visited this part of Wales before, this is an ideal base to experience the West Coast of Wales and the stunning Snowdonia countryside. The main line train station is only a few mins away as well as Barmouth town just across the famous Brunel Bridge (30 min walk) and Tywyn (15 min drive) in the other direction.

ACCOMMODATION:

With level access off the drive, you enter through the front storm porch off the driveway with parking for 2 cars.  There is new carpeted flooring in the main rooms and the bedrooms.

Off the hallway are the three bedrooms, living room and a family bathroom room

KITCHEN:

This separate ‘Birch wood Shalker’ style kitchen is well equipped with everything you require to cook for a family, inc. a washing machine and much more. The kitchen has good quality appliances, including an electric hob & double oven with a grill, fridge with freezer box, microwave and toaster.

DINING/LIVING ROOM:

There is a spacious open plan, living/dining area with the bonus of a sunny conservatory which leads onto the rear garden.  There is ample comfy seating, inc 2 X 2 seater settees. For your entertainment there is a flat screen TV/DVD with FREEVIEW.  Games & books, WIFI of course. 

The sunny dining area has an oak/wood table and 4 hi-back chairs and overlooks the rear garden.

OUTSIDE

The bungalow is set in Fairbourne, a Victorian coastal village on The Cambrian Coast. The rear garden & patio has recently been landscaped and benefits from the sun most of the day.  There is a new (summer 2017) BBQ, patio set with glass top table, with sun shade & 4 chairs for alfresco dining.

Front garden: With grassy area, off road parking spaces for 2 cars.   Free parking on the road.

FURTHER DETAILS.

We will take one dog at this property.  No puppies.

We have a minimum charge of £250 for any stay.

Friday changeovers in the main season.

We ask for a 25% deposit on booking, the balance is due 8 weeks before.

There is a £150 security deposit, which we will return within 14 days provided there are no breakages or damage.

We can accept payments by cheque, Bacs, or card payment (via PayPal). A £35 booking fee applies to each booking.

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.
