From the sitting room (with a big wood burners), & most of the bedrooms, you can watch the tides roll in and experience spectacular sunsets to the West. Visiting this lovely holiday home and you could be soaking up the sun all day long then enjoying dining Al-Fresco on the stunning rear garden terraces, furnished with lovely ‘Rattan’ patio furniture, this is a main feature of this property. Watch the sun go down, with the Dovey Estuary as a backdrop. WOW !
This stunning, cosy, period house has it all. Newly refurbished and furnished to a very high standard, Maes Y Glyn has all the comforts of modern living and a lot more besides. Heating is oil fired central heating and additionally a wood burners, plus double glazing. FREE WI FI.
Comfortably sleeping 11 guests, plus a baby, our holiday home is spread over two floors and is spacious enough to accommodate 2 or 3 generations of families.
Set in The Snowdonia National Park, Maes Y Glyn, is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. For those with families, miles of sweeping sandy beaches can be found in Aberdovey & Tywyn. If you're into cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walker paradise with Bird Rock, the Blue Lake & Cader Idris just a few minutes' drive away! Zipworld, Bounce Below & Surf Snowdonia are only about an hour away, but If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway up to the mystical Dolgoch Falls?
As well as a fantastic location with views, this home is only 10 minutes drive to Aberdovey harbour village, with it’s sandy beach & village centre. Just 15 minutes away is Tywyn with all amenities, including a hospital, restaurants, pubs, shops, cinema, leisure centre and more. Aberdovey Golf Club is only a 10 min drive and the fabulous Snowdonia countryside is right on the doorstep.

To the right is the sitting room with original slate floor and a big bay windows to enjoy the lovely views. There are two 3 seater settees, 2 ‘shabby chic wooden chairs, coffee table, 32inch flat screen & DVD, but the focal point is a lovely big wood burner and with a slate hearth & pine surround.
The kitchen & dining room is to the rear with stripped pine wood floor. There is a lovely big oak dining table, with an additional small table, 8 chairs and a bench, so we can sit a full house around the table.
The kitchen is a stylish modern fitted kitchen with lots of storage, separate washing dishwasher, hob, range cooker with single & double oven and grill, microwave, 4 toaster, expresso maker and washing machine.
Twin & disable friendly room, with en-suite sleeps 2:
With 2 X single bed, making this an idea ‘chillout room’ for the kids! This room benefits from an en-suite, disable adapted (with extra wide door) walk in shower/wet room, with WC and low level wash hand basin.
There are four bedrooms. All the bedrooms have new carpet flooring.
Sleeping 2. Front master bedroom with window seating, a king size bed and stunning sea views over the estuary.
Sleeping 2. Newly constructed, rear bedroom which opens onto the terraces, a fabulous feature! With a king size bed & en-suite.
Sleeping 2. Side bedroom with 2 single beds.
Sleeping 3. Side bedroom with double bunk bed with single above and lovely views.
On this floor is a family bathroom with tiled floor, a separate shower, bath with shower attachment, WC and pedestal wash hand basin.
This lovely holiday home has slopping gardens to the front and lovely terraces to the rear.
BBQ of course, Rattan garden tables & chairs. Dine Al Fresco and enjoy the fabulous sea views and sunsets.
Short breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £399 applies to every booking and a £35 booking fee.
Christmas dates 22nd to 28th Dec & New Year 29th December to 5th January
Where a 1 week minimum applies, our changeover day is MONDAY
Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of energy, heating, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.
We will also consider taking one dog with a £25 surcharge applying. Dogs are welcome on the beach except in the restricted area
We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £250 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property.
'We have just spent the Easter weekend at the above property. We just wanted to say what a wonderful property it is, the place was immaculate, well equipped and had wonderfully comfortable beds; all in all we had a fabulous Easter there!

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.
