This fab detached house is set in a lovely location with stunning views.  5 bedrooms & 3 bathroom, can sleep up to 12 guests. Lovely garden & terraces with woodland to the side & rear.  A 10 min short walk into Dogellau & 15 min drive to the coast at Barmouth & Fairbourne. A large  CO-OP store is a 2 min drive or 10 min walk.  Dolgellau old town is just behind the CO-OP and leisure centre with, Pubs, Cafes, Good restaurants (can recommend several) independent shops and a monthly farmers market. Wednesday Market in Machylleth all year round. Lots of lovely walks and some dog friendly beaches nearly.

No expense has been spared to make your holiday as comfortable and relaxing.  Our property is tastefully decorated and furnished with quality furniture and bedding.  It benefits from gas central heating, double glazing, quality flooring, a superb kitchen with a range cooker & all appliances, a family bathroom, shower room & one en suite, plus a cloakroom.  Guest can relax in one of the two large lounges; there is a dining room with seating for 11 people.  The main lounge over looks the rear garden and patio plus barbecue area with a view of the woodland.  SKY & Broadband for your entertainment. We also have a snooker table.  Caer Dderwen is a much sought after residential location and our property occupies possible the best location, being at the top of an elevated road, with no buildings to the side or rear, enjoying a quiet location with fantastic views.  The road ends in a cul-de-sac, so there is very little traffic.

Lounge one:  Electric flame effect fire & surround. Patio DG doors to garden, leather seating for 7 people, coffee table, flat screen TV/DVD & VCR.

Lounge two: Seating for 6 people with bookcase.

Dinning Room: With large family table and seating for 11 people.

Kitchen/breakfast room:  Comprehensive, quality range of kitchen units including  a gas/electric range cooker, dish washer, American  fridge/freezer, Breakfast area with table and chairs for 6 people.

Laundry room: With sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 1: With King size bed, built in wardrobe & en suite bathroom.

Bedroom 2 With King size bed, built in wardrobe.

Bedroom 3: With Double size bed, built in wardrobe

Bedroom 4: With twin beds,  wardrobe

Bedroom 5: With single bed & put-up bed, wardrobe

We also have a further two put up beds so we can sleep 12.

With sloping lawn, off road parking spaces for several cars, garage with a snooker table.

Rear garden:

Backing onto a lovely wooded area to the rear and fields to the one side, paved pathways and large lawn.  Patio area with table & four chairs for alfresco dining.  Two sun loungers.  Further decked area with a barbecue.

Additional information 

It is the guest's responsibility to insure against any losses that may occur should the need to cancel their holiday arise.Short breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £399 applies to every booking. Where a 1 week minimum applies, our changeover day is Saturday. Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of electric, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels. The property comfortably sleeps 10 people, but we can accommodate 12 (2 sleeping on comfortable put up beds) A £35 per person surcharge applies. We will also consider taking one dog with a £25 surcharge applying. We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £250 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property.  We can accept payments by cheque, but prefer a BACS or FASTER (internet) payment in GBP. We also have a PayPal facility, for which we charge a 1.8% supplement per transaction. Details available on request. A £25 booking fee applies to each booking.

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.

"First time rented out a cottage, with guests of 11 in total. You would of thought it would be a tight squeeze, but the size of the cottage was massive. Great cottage, location and great views. Everything inside and out of the house was perfect. There is a big supply of board games, dvds, games and books, free WIFI, Crockery."

"Stayed at Easter for a family get together. There were a few stairs which my mother found difficult (she needs a stair lift normally). I found it a really great holiday rental. It was quiet, but nicely positioned for the village facilities. The views from the lounge were lovely. It was very well kitted out and furnished. The upstairs lounge was very useful for the teenagers. "
