About the Converted Chapel

JUST Listed!!  Lounge Holidays are thrilled to offer this stunning, newly converted, Gothic Style Chapel, sleeping up to 15 guests and offering genuine 5* self-catering, family accommodation.

This former Methodist chapel, originally built in 1871, has been a real labour of love for the present owners and now transformed, it offers a superb, contemporary holiday home with private off road parking plus a lovely garden (rare for a converted Chapel), perfect for large families. This truly has it all, including a downstairs bedroom with en-suite, so great for guests with mobility issues, (not disabled) plus it’s pet free & smoke free so great for guests with allergies.

Ty Capel or The Chapel House is a really special ‘premier’ holiday home, located close to the town centre in Tywyn, on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and only a short walk to a sweeping sandy beach and the world famous Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway, which inspired The Rev Awdry author to write ‘Thomas The Tank’.

Miles of sandy beaches and stunning walks are just a 10 minute walk from the Chapel.  As well as this fantastic location, just down the road from Tywyn’s Blue Flag award-winning beach, the town centre with its independent shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, excellent eateries, cinema and leisure centre with pool, is just a minute away.
