This former Methodist chapel, originally built in the 1860s, has been a labour of love for the present owners and is now transformed into a superb, contemporary holiday home, perfect for large families & groups. Set in The Snowdonia National Park, Jerusalem Chapel is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want.

The three-storey Vestry, at the rear of the property, offers spacious accommodation and many original features.

No expense has spared to make you stay as comfortable as possible.  

All the furniture, high quality bedding & soft furnishings are beyond what you would expect in a premium, boutique style holiday home.

The Vestry has its own enclosed outdoor space and to the side of the property there is parking for several cars.

Sleeps 8-10 guests, it has three bedrooms, two have their own en-suite bathrooms and the top floor family bedroom has a shower room off the spacious landing, which has a bed settee, providing a fourth 'bedroom'  The Vestry comfortably sleeps 8, but we can accommodate 10,(2 sleeping on a bed settee) A £35 per extra person surcharge applies.

The lounge area is a fabulous open-plan space, with a feature raised oak floor seating area, on which there are a large 4 seater sofa & 2 armchairs.  

There are excellent entertainment facilities, with a 46” TV with Freesat, iPod docking station, DVD player and Wii, as well as a selection of books, DVDs and games. 

The dining area is equipped with a large, solid oak dining table, leather chairs and oak sideboard and the state-of-the-art, well-equipped kitchen includes a hob, double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Outside, there is a private seating area with a heater lamp and a barbeque area. There is an anchor point and tap for securing and washing down bikes and outdoor equipment. 

One the ground Floor is a lovely entrance porch with coat & shoe racks, utility/boiler room with washer/dryer, separate guest WC & wash hand basin.

Heating is provided from an oil fired boiler, with 2 heating zones (thermostats on ground floor & top floor). Ventilation system with heat recovery.

The Vestry comfortably sleeps 8, but we can accommodate 10,(2 sleeping on a comfortable bed settee) A £35 per extra person surcharge applies.  For groups of 8 or less in the Vestry, if you wish to have use of the bed settee we can have it made up and one £35 surcharge applies.

Second Floor

With magnificent high ceilings and quatrefoil window, this gives this space a sense of grandeur and history.

Sleeps 4. One double & two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables, carpeted floor.

Landing area
Sleeps 2. On a comfortable bed settee, chest of drawers, carpeted floor.
Outside: Lovely spacious, west facing, enclosed stone courtyard with bistro table and chairs, Infar-red patio heater. BBQ Stunning, uninterrupted views of the mountains to the rear.  Enjoy al-fresco dining and watch the sun set behind the mountains.

FRIDAY changeover day in main season

Additional Information

Short breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights.

A minimum charge of £599 applies for The Vestry part of the Chapel.

There is a £250 damage deposit for which is returned within 14 days provided there is no damage. 

Prices inclusive of electric, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

The Vestry comfortably sleeps 8, but we can accommodate 10,(2 sleeping on a bed settee) A £35 per extra person surcharge applies.

We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date.

We can accept payments by cheque, Bacs, or card payment (via PayPal). A £35 booking fee applies to each booking.

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.

"Kate D, Hyde, 20/4/14 Enjoyed a lovely weekend with family in this amazing place. Loved that we could all stay together and enjoyed the family time; the kids especially enjoyed the Wii. The accommodation is 5*. The house is beautiful. Very friendly and welcoming pub 2 minutes walk away. Enjoyed the steam train on TalyLlyn Railway. A great day out for ALL the family. Dolgoch walks very enjoyable too. Will definitely visit again! Thanks too for the welcome basket and flowers. A very enjoyable weekend."
