This former Methodist chapel, originally built in the 1860s, has been a labour of love for the present owners and is now transformed into a superb, contemporary holiday home, perfect for large families & groups.

Set in The Snowdonia National Park, Jerusalem Chapel is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want.

This is a very spacious property with an indoor, 4 person, infra-red sauna and enjoys many original features, occupying the front part of the Chapel. 

No expense has been spared to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

All the furniture, hotel quality bedding & soft furnishings are beyond what you would expect in a premium, boutique style holiday home. The Chapel has a sophisticated, eco-friendly heating system, with underfloor heating throughout. 

There is a separate outdoor space to the front and to the side of the property. There is parking for several cars.

With the garden to the front, you enter a lovely slate floor hallway with coat & shoe racks plus a storage cupboard. There is a sweeping oak staircase fitted with a child safety gate, which leads up to the living area and to its side, there is a useful utility room with washer/dryer & drying space. 

A guest's cloakroom with WC & basin is located off the hallway. On the 1st floor, there is a fabulous open plan living area with high feature ceilings. 

The living room enjoys stunning views all round of the Dysynni River, the village towards the railway & the hills & mountains and has fantastic entertainment facilities, including WiFi, iPod amplifier, internet flat-screen tv, dvd player, surround sound and a tuned Baby Grand piano.

There is a large dining table & 10 chairs, screen and projector which can be connected to laptop or other devices via USB or VGA (10 additional chairs stored downstairs) and a state-of-the-art, well equipped kitchen with island & granite worktops, large induction hob, halogen oven, double oven combination microwave/oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller.

Outside there is a spacious enclosed garden with large picnic bench and BBQ.

Keen mountain bikers and outdoor sports enthusiasts will appreciate the drying room and there is a large, secure bike/equipment storage area in the side-yard, with a wash-down area.

There are lovely views of the surrounding mountains and river. 

The whole property is split into two houses, both are very spacious and enjoy many original features, with the larger 'Chapel' occupying the front of the building and the 'Vestry' occupying the rear part.

The main Chapel sleeps 10-12 guests, the four bedrooms all have their own en-suite bathrooms, additionally, there is a bed settee in the lounge, it comfortably sleeps 10 people, but we can accommodate 12 (2 sleeping on a bed settee) A £35 per extra person surcharge applies.

There is underfloor heating throughout, which utilises energy from Solar thermal panels & an air source heat pump. There is also a fresh air ventilation system with heat recovery.  All the bedrooms have underfloor heating with individual thermostats.

Ground Floor

With the garden to the front you enter a lovely tiled hallway with coat & shoe racks plus a storage cupboard.  The main feature is a sweeping oak staircase taking you up to the living area.

To the side is a useful Utility room with washer/dryer & drying space, chest freezer. Keen mountain bikers and outdoor sports enthusiasts will appreciate the drying room & there is a large bike/equipment storage area in the side yard.

There is a guest's cloakroom with WC & basin off the hallway.

Half way down the hallway between the bedrooms is a 'chill out space' with useful storage & a seating area.

Additional Information

A minimum charge of £695 applies to this main part of Jerusalem ChapelShort breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am.

Our changeover day is FRIDAY for the peak season dates. Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of electric, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

The Chapel comfortably sleeps 10 people, but we can accommodate 12 (2 sleeping on a bed settee) A £35 per extra person surcharge applies.  For groups of 10 or less using the Chapel if you wish to have use of the bed settees we can have them made up and one-off £35 surcharge applies.

We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date.
We also ask for a £250 damage deposit, which is refundable, providing there are no breakages or damage to the property.

We can accept payments by cheque, Bacs, or card payment.  A £39 booking fee applies to each booking.

It is the guest's responsibility to insure against any losses that may occur should the need to cancel their holiday arise.

Rates shown below are per night or for the whole week. Where a nightly rate is shown, we offer a 4 night midweek break arriving on Monday leaving on Friday and a 3 night weekend break arriving on Friday leaving on Monday.
