Summer 2018 is selling out fast, but some dates still available!

Looking for that special beach house? Craig Gwyn Premier Beach House is a perfect choice and is one of our most popular homes and it has it all. 

This gorgeous, contemporary beach house is beautifully furnished to a high standard and newly decorated throughout for the start of the 2018 season. 

Enjoy uninterrupted sea views and miles of unspoiled sandy beaches. From the huge balcony, you can watch the waves roll in and as many of our past guests have told us, see the dolphins play, as well as experience spectacular sunsets over the bay. 

Your family will LOVE this stunning west facing holiday home.  You could be soaking up the sun all day long then enjoy a cool glass of Cader Gold (our local craft beer)  then dine Al-Fresco on the balcony while watching the sunset over Cardigan Bay. An unforgettable experience.

Accommodation

Comfortably sleeping 8 guests in style, but we can sleep 10 by utilising the 2 put up beds (a £35 supplement per extra guest applies). 

All the stairways and bedroom upstairs are carpeted, the main living room and downstairs have quality real wood flooring.

Ground floor

Twin / double room

  • IKEA ‘guest bed’ with pull out bed, which can also be used as a double bed.

Wet room  

This room is right next to the bedroom and is ideal for guests with mobility issues.  

Walk in off the beach straight into a purpose built wet room with WC and pedestal wash hand basin.

The garage and utility area includes:

Middle floor

This is the main feature of this fabulous property!

Through the feature glass doors off the stairway is a huge open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with big wooden bench style dining table, which can sit 10 with hi-back black leather padded chairs and wooden benches. 

To the front is the sitting area are

The double French doors open out on to a full-length balcony with 6 stylish rattan furniture, square glass top tables and loungers to enjoy the uninterrupted sea views.

To the rear is a stylish ‘hi-gloss white’ contemporary fitted kitchen with everything you will need to cook a family meal or entertain in style.

Top Floor

King Size Bedroom 1

At the front (sea facing) of the property features a Juliet balcony with stunning sea views.  

This lovely master bedroom has:

  • Oak wardrobe and 2 oak bedside tables

The en-suite shower room features a WC, vanity wash hand basin, and shower.  

Bunk room 2

Sleeping 2 is next to the master bedroom and also enjoys stunning sea views.  It has adult size bunk beds, wardrobe, and chest of drawers.

King Size Bedroom 3

At the rear of the property features a Juliet balcony with a scenic view over the of the town and the mountains as a backdrop. 

This lovely master bedroom has:

  • An oak king size
  • Wood framed bed
  • Oak dressing table
  • Oak wardrobe and 2 oak bedside tables

Family Bathroom

Also, on the top floor is a lovely bright and spacious family bathroom, with:

  • A feature ‘roll top’ bath and hand held shower attachment

  • Fully fitted storage units incorporating a vanity wash hand basin

The bathroom is fully tiled with Italian style floor tiles and white wall tiles.

This lovely beach house is spread over 3 floors and is spacious enough to accommodate the whole family. 

As well as a fantastic seafront location and views towards Bardsey Island and The Llyn Peninsula, our beach house is also only 5 minutes walk away from the town centre with the world-famous Talyllyn Railway, plus all amenities including a doctor's surgery, leisure centre, restaurants, pubs, shops, cinema and more.

The Snowdonia, the countryside is right on the doorstep. Set on the edge of the National Park, Tywyn is close to the ‘sublime Mawddach’ and Dovey Estuaries, Cader Idris & right on the doorstep, miles of stunning coastal & hillside walks await you!

Additional Information

It is the guest's responsibility to ensure against any losses that may occur should the need to cancel their holiday arise. Short breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £399 applies to every booking. Where a 1-week minimum applies, our changeover day is Saturday. Prices shown are in pounds’ sterling per week, inclusive of electric, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels. The property comfortably sleeps 8 people, but we can accommodate 10 (2 sleeping on comfortable put up beds) A £35 per person surcharge applies. We will also consider taking one dog with a £25 surcharge applying. We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £250 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property. We can accept payments by cheque, Bacs, or card payment (via PayPal). A £35 booking fee applies to each booking.

"Ideal large family beach house Craig Gwyn is an ideal house for extended family or groups of friends to stay in, though as it's on 3 floors all need to be mobile. The variety of beds suits all needs (single, doubles, bunks, Z bed, sofa, pull out single, cot), and there are plenty of bathroom facilities, all of which work well and are roomy enough. The kitchen is sufficiently well equipped and the dining table large enough for big family meals, though we chose to eat out at some of the excellent restaurants in Tywyn. The Salt Marsh Kitchen and The Proper Gander for English cuisine, two extremely good Indians - particularly Dine India - and Walkers fish and chip restaurant. The balcony dining table is perfect for watching the sunset and porpoise with an after dinner bottle or two. Our favourite activity in Tywyn...a walk along the beach to Aberdovey for breakfast at The Medina Cafe (lovely sheltered courtyard tables) or The Seabreeze restaurant ...and then walk back afterwards with an ice cream from the Aberdovey Home-Made Ice Cream Shop. A safe walk, just 50 minutes-ish each way depending on how often you stop to pick up shells or paddle. If you set off just after the tide turns you'll have plenty of time, but if you're too full to walk, there's trains and buses back to Tywyn. "We have just come back from a great girls weekend in Tywyn. We stayed in the house and it is very comfortable and great for a big group. Had everything we could have possibly needed for the weekend. Amazing view of the sea and right on the beach. We also got the train to Barmouth for the day, house is about 10 mins walk from the station so very easy to do. Also close by a very large co-op shop. We didn't want to leave!"
