Hafan Y Traeth or ‘Sand Haven’ is a lovely 3rd-floor, 2-bedroom, beach-front, contemporary style holiday apartment sleeping 4 guests. With a West-facing aspect it affords stunning views of the beach, dunes, and Cardigan Bay. The apartment has recently been renovated & decorated with new furniture, fittings, and quality bedding. From the open plan living, kitchen, and dining room you can watch the waves roll in, with the beach located right opposite.

There is gas central heating, double glazing, and of course, the apartment has free WiFi throughout. There is no designated parking, but there are free parking spaces outside and a car park opposite, as well the main town car park 500m away.

ACCOMMODATION
Entering from the front of the building through the communal entrance hall, the apartment is on the third floor.

Dining & Living Area
The main open-plan living area enjoys fabulous views, framed by the big bay window. With carpeted flooring & feature fireplace.

A lovely glass-top dining table with 6 tulip-shaped chairs.
The sitting area has:
A fab swivel chair, matching big cosy 3 seater sofa, and a footstool

A 32” Hinsede SMART TV

Kitchen:
The separate kitchen area is defined by an archway and features tiled laminate flooring.
A recently fitted kitchen has hi-gloss units with a slate-look worktop

The kitchen is equipped with everything you would expect in a well-presented holiday home.

Both the bedrooms are carpeted and have hairdryers in the rooms. They also have Dunelm quality linen, mattress & pillow protectors.

Miles of sweeping sandy beaches and stunning walks are just a stone’s throw from the apartment.
As well as a fantastic location with views of Barmouth’s award-winning sandy beach and the Llyn Peninsula, this lovely holiday home is only a two-minute walk to Barmouth town centre with its shops, harbour, good pubs, and eateries.
Surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park, the apartment is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want.
For those with families miles of sweeping sandy beaches await you, or perhaps you could explore nearby Harlech Castle – a World Heritage Site.
If you’re into cycling or horse-riding there are numerous scenic places to ride and the internationally famous mountain biking centre at Coed y Brenin is just 20 minutes away. This is a walker’s paradise with the Mawddach Trail & Taith Ardudwy Way very close, whilst the Wales Coastal Path passes the front door!
For those seeking a little more challenge Cader Idris lies at the head of the Mawddach Estuary and Snowdon can be reached in less than an hour.
If you’re not the active type, then how about a ride on the Cambrian Coast railway – one of the UK’s most scenic railway routes all the way along this glorious coastline – or maybe one of the famous narrow-gauge steam railways that proliferate in this corner of Wales?

An ideal property for your summer holiday, winter & weekend break.
Short breaks, when available, out of the main school holidays: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £299 applies to every booking.
Where a 1-week minimum applies, our changeover day is SATURDAY
Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of energy, heating, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

We also have a travel cot & highchair at no extra charge. Baby bedding is not provided.

Outside of Peak Season we may consider 1 small / medium sized dog .. prior arrangement only, no puppies. £35 pet fee would apply.

We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £150 security deposit, which is refundable provided there are no breakages or damage to the property.
We accept payment by BACS bank transfer, secure online card payments or by cheque. A £49 booking fee is applied to every booking.
